Perhaps it was because of our disparities in success. The new house was a result of my promotion; I became the youngest executive at Gray & Carson. There is an entrance stage left.
AT RISE: The bartender stands behind the bar, shining
glasses and such. Karla sits at a bar nursing
a drink, perhaps a rum and coke or a Yeung- Ling. Cris enters from stage left, a little
uncomfortable, a little nervous. She
approaches Karla.

None of us are TameHe walks in slow motion One foot rises, strangely arched. Delicately he places it back down. With a strange vile grace he bends his knee too much and his body sinks as if lost a moment to currents and tides of air. His spine, a rigid monument, slides up and down and reminds her of a merry-go-round. He is the golden, spray-painted, pole running through the innocent mare. A horse - it's face frozen incurably in a look of fear and disgust with it's lips curled, teeth gleaming, and pain in it's eyes- is running in circles forever.
